In 8 seasons of Charmed, their was never a Christmas or a Holiday themed episode. The Holiday season is such a magical time of the year. I can think of a couple good story lines. Charmed had dealt with many mythical beings, and legendary characters of literature & folklore(leprechauns, Cinderella, 7 dwarfs, and cupid to name a few). Why not St. Nick? Any thoughts?

[Try to keep in mind] They are supposed to be following Wiccan.

[Try to keep in mind] They live in San Fransisco (not alot of snow there).

[Try to keep in mind] They don't have much family (noral family that they personally know anyways).

So they do have episodes but they can't have a Christmas Bash or touch on Santa.

Every Valentine's Day and every Halloween they have some important events. Usually on Halloween they are turned into stuff like Princesses and have to deal with the brutality of other people Witch Bashing them and saying they should look like the one's used for holidays. They have met a couple Cupids.. infact there is a love interest or was one mixed into there.

I don't get new episodes because where I am we were getting two year delaies on Charmed when lucky because WB didn't own their own station here any more,.. but I will assume during Christmas there is a gap there for things that have to fill up time so there isn't room for episodes close enough to Christmas to deal with Christmas.

I think there have been some New Year's eps.

So while an Ep can air during the week of Valentine's Day,.. one can't Air during Christmas and since things are trying to be shown weekly normally... they aren't seen that week.

When they try to decorate their home for any Holiday, the decorations get destroied, used by whatever is after them or only hender them so they try not to decorate very much.

Added: There are "Christian Groups" or organizations or whatever that protest and prevent some series from haveing certain things shown. For example before Sailor Moon was released a couple got control of how it was to be edited,.. they changed the names of Christian and Catholic schools, they had crosses, crusifixes, and Christian prayers removed,.. they also have Nuns, Priest, the main character praying to God for strength, and Christian Churches removed. Luckily they didn't have that control when they Subbed, Dubbed, and Edited the fourth and fifth season. Anyways these same groups that did this and do this to things have all these lies and junk set up like they show old statistics some times hundreds of years old to prove that the Japanese are not Christian,.. are Heathens,.. and things they have edited are made by Satanist. >.<

All those groups aside,.. if you were a Mother with small children,... would you want one of your Favorite Shows to have Santa Claus? Especially a show where he would likely be kidnapped, tortured and posibly killed? No, and the target audience probably doesn't want anything happening to Saint Nicolous either.

Added2: I love YouTube,.. hope these help,..

This episode is supposed to play on Christmas,.. I don't know if it happens near Christmas or if the title and one of the songs just play on the theme of a song called Baby's First Christmas. So this might be considered a Christmas Ep if it's really supposed to be near Baby's First Christmas. I'll watch and let you know... this is going to take an hour to get back to you.

Added3: Oh ya,.. try to get/watch eps Heartbreak City, Engaged and Confused , and Generation Hex because the Guides indicate for sure they have Cupids in them. The first should take place on or near Valentine's Day if I can't remember eps well.

Sorry to bust all the christians bubbles but Christmas was originally Yule (A Pagan Holiday) and with that the "Original" Santa was ODIN.. So to if they did make a "Christmas" themed episode it would be Yule.. If people would open their minds and pic up a book here and there you would know this.

I think that they would probably have had some problems with the general public by incorporating demons with Christmas. So, they didn't want to get into law suits. By the way, I miss that show it was my favorite.

The producers probably didn't know how to place witches into a Christian holiday without creating a big and potentially costly controversy with viewers and advertisers.

Dunno why Charmed would have a problem with it. Buffy had an episode at Christmas (but granted the only tie-in with Christmas was "hey, it happens to be Christmas time"...).
