Ok...i know you can get pinched nerves when pregnant but I want to know if anyone out there has this happen to them.....

since the first trimester I have this pain on the right side of my spine....down by my tailbone...but not that far down...above it a bit......i only get the pain in certain positions....like when I put my pants on, I bend over and lift my left leg and nothing...but when i lift my right leg...shooting pain.....its not as strong as it used to be but I was just wondering how often this happens. Especially for this long...i am now 19 wks.

It could be possible that you are experiencing hemorrhoids from pressure from the baby. Ask your OB. Good luck!

My sciatic acts up all the time, it has been better actually since i have been pregnant. I get my husband to rub it and it feels much better, this might sound strange but if you rub the right bum cheek it works better than if you rub the nerve. I don't know why, but it works, you will know you have the right spot when you feel light pain in your leg, or some tingling. My cousin had problems with hers while she was pregnant and it got so bad that in the middle of the night she would get up to go pee and collapse because her legs wouldn't work. I hope you don't get that bad, but try a warm bath and a massage.

i think that a pinched muscle might be felt in just one spot. I have a pinched nerve in my reduce again, and that i consider it the entire manner all the way down to my left ankle and all the way down to my correct knee. if the discomfort appears to be travelling all the way down to different ingredients or the frame i might say the nerve is pinched. ibprofen is an anti-inflamatory that reduces the irritation within the subject of the pinched nerve, however it's going to most effective do such a lot. i have got to take round 800mg of ibprofen to even consider adore it's any larger, whilst it is appearing up. well success, i'm hoping i used to be of a few aid.

I agree with the first answer. It is your sciatic nerve. I experience this pain when in one position for too long or when I step to the side. I haven't heard of it causing problems in the first trimester. It usually begins in the third trimester because of the weight of the baby, but it could be your hips widening as well.. Anyway good luck!!! And happy pregnancy to you (it is possible)

I have had a pinched nerve pretty much my whole pregnancy and it bothers me so much! I can barely sit without the top right of my back going numb.

I am 37 weeks and can't wait to get this weight off of me and get a LONG massage!

Sounds like your sciatic nerve. That can cause issues at any point during your pregnancy.
