was reading my usb flash drive manual and it said that it may be a good idea to add a password on the usb flash drive (i did it on my home computer) and when i got to my class to open a file i clicked on the part where it sayes to open the usb drive and it said type he password (so i did) and it said that it couldn't open it up! What could be causing it not to open! please help i reall need the things that i saved on it! (it will open at home, but not at school) I tried going to the properties drop down menu and see if there was any thing to change but I didnt find anything - so please if you would help!!!!!!!!!! Thanks :)

im not used to flash drive, just ipod, but there might be part where you can remove the password, on your home comp, then you wont need to do that for school

If it is A text document you can just "cut and paste" it to make a new file without a password. The delete the old file (the one with the password) and save the new file to your flash drive. Good Luck

It sounds as though you password protected and set it for use only on your home computer. Try reading the manual for disabling the password. If this does not work, copy all the files from your flash drive to your computer, and consult the manual for how to wipe the drive.
