Some people may think you are selfish...But I totally understand what you are saying. I also asked my ex-husband for a divorce, and fortunately are able to keep a civil relationship because of our child. He's a good father; but he was not a very good husband. I think the price varies...Everybody is different, and everybody understands "happiness" differently, too. But you are right...Being able to have peace of mind and to live with less anguish and stress is a small price to pay! I am also much happier now, and even my health has gotten better!

You can't put a price on that. Happiness comes from WITHIN. There are things (physical) that can create a temporary happiness (shopping, winning a game, etc), but it is all from within and what you do with your life and what you make out of it.

Self Actualization. You can be truly happy only when you've realized that you have enough. Funny thing is we will never have enough. That's human nature. We always want somethings! People desire most is powers.
