Do I want socialism? Hmmm...ABSOLUTELY NOT! Capitalism is not the source of the world's ills. Capitalism rewards the workers instead of handing out money/benefits to lazy, unproductive members of society. It promotes innovation and is crucial for the continued progression of a nation. There is no way I would even want socialism. Because no matter how hard I worked it wouldn't matter. Are you advocating socialism here or communism? I'm pretty sure that Lenin and Company were communists...Anyway, I think you are blending the two together. And lastly -- there is a reason why the "Marxist Tradition" hasn't been upheld in any sense in the current world -- It doesn't work, it's not possible, and people don't want every member of society to be equal. There are striking flaws in your argument and I think you need to reconsider your position. History shows that capitalism is the best system of economy.

Your such a fool, your trying to say there is no war, poverty, exploitation and oppression in communism/socialism. Learn your history moron, over 90 million people have died because of those people which you admire so much, thats just in the last 90 years. I hate how you dam commies "marxists" act like your so intelligant and that you know whats best, but if you look at history your ways have killed more people, oppressed more people, and exploited more people then capitalism. How about the millions of slave workers who were starved to death, worked to death, and sent out into the wilderness to die. Atleast in Capitalism you have a Chance for something better if you work hard or smart and you own you. Thats something you don't understand, communists don't see you as an individual, you are nothing more then cattle and will be treated like such. The State owns you, your property, your things. So they can take them away anytime they chose and guess what you don't have a say in the matter. Don't give me the bs about Stalin was different, he was doing his own thing. The tactics that Stalin used like starving the people, party purges, and oppression were first used by Lenin. You should be ashamed of yourself, but i know that commies have no shame, cuz if they did they wouldn't be commies. You like socialism so much go to North Korea. China is only communist in name. There is no such thing as private property in real communism. I hope you join your idols soon.

I support strictly controlled capitalism like in northern Europe. High taxes, huge social welfare programs. They have better education, health care, and everything else that makes life better.
Nobody knows if socialism can work since it's never been in practice anywhere. All we've had is Communism.
And under socialism doctors and burger flippers are not paid the same. But that was probably posted by someone who's so stupid they're flipping burgers for a living.

So Joe Blow's welfare check should equal the same amount as my check for a hard week's work? If you will truthfully look at the socialist governements over the last 100+ years, you will see that their people, in many cases, were starving and doing without basic necessities because the government wasn't sharing the wealth as they promised. Look at North Korea now. It's people have very little, but Kim Jung Il likes his expensive Vodka. Socialism has proved itself to be a complete joke.

Socialism is great in theory, but horrible in practical application. Yes, everyone dreams of a world with no poor, no hungry, everybody equal. But what winds up occuring is that people will quickly learn that (as one response put it) you can have the same level of life by working at McD's as you can devoting your life to learning and helping others (i.e. a doctor) so why work hard? You would have the few who do it for the good or love of the work, but the majority would be happy to sit on their a$$es and let others do the work. So eventually, the quality of education suffers, the nnumbers of skilled workers drops, and the society as a whole grinds to a halt.
As proof, look at the great experiment started by those people you named in your question (Marx, Lenin, etc) called the USSR. They fell not because we were bigger or better, but because their societal breakdown made it impossible for them to compete with us on a global scale. We simply outworked, outlearned and outprogressed their citizens.
So, no, I do not want Socialism in its entirety. But a little bit of its thought might not hurt now and then.

You sir are an excellent propagandist. this is subsequently an equivalent pity you paintings for the Communist chinese. it is an on call for economic equipment; no longer a loose marketplace capitalist one. Get your hardship-free information precise and also you'll supply up being an a$$ and start up being an American, like your Grandfather. How is this land different than he knew us of a of america to be? properly, you stupid. you'll call an apple an orange and make citrus pie and contact it cherry. at the same time as the decide has the right to close the door, rule on a "civil case" and haul a fellow off to die on a chain gang, that ain't an American courtroom. Tjhat occurs each of the time right here for the straightforward reason you could't look to inform the adaptation.

I think the lazier minority benefits from the laborers in socialism; it might work in theory but there will always be people who try to beat the system and earn a living doing nothing but being a citizen, while others who do actual hard work get no benefits - they might decide working isn't worth it.

Socialism is good for the poor country in order to distribute the wealth to all of the people and dispense with the rich people. Thus, the country will improve because all the money will go to the government and not only to few rich people. After socialism, the government could turn to capitalism in order to encourage people to work more and improve the economy.

Let's explore Socialism. It has failed and is failing virtually everywhere in the world. It advocates the public use of everything which interprets to no private property. I am aware of the Communist/Socialist origins. Obviously, you have been heavily influenced by the Communist Manifesto which I have read. Marx had excellent intentions with his intellectually conceptualized system but it does not work. Why? That one individual that becomes greedy. You have to perceive reality more accurately. As long as we have patriotic Conservatives such as myself, this Socialism implementation will not be tolerated. If you honestly feel that way, move to Venezuela and see how wonderful their Socialist government is functioning. We don't need your schizophrenic ideals polluting our government further. Take your Communist/Socialist/Liberal a.ss and get out of my country. I am a true patriot and I will not tolerate freaks like you.

Do you live in the US. If so and you love socialism so much why not move to a socialist country?
Have you ever noticed that when a country goes socialist or communist that the standard of living for everyone goes down?
In a capitalist economy you choose to be poor. In a socialist economy you are forced to become poor.
