the argument is that fish have to eat all the time because they cannot store fat. I understand Bass is a fatty fish. What about sharks?

I'm not sure about sharks but i do know that a beta can we had the fattest beta i had ever seen at my work turned out that every shift was feeding him.
also we have a pond full of cat fish and i know for sure that they get real fat. we caught 7 that ranged from 40 in to 25 all as fat as fat can be.

I've never seen a fat fish, but they get oilier with age. Some fish like sturgeon were so plentiful and considered a nuisance that when they were caught in the nets they were stacked up and burnt on the river bank. They ruined the nets intended to catch perch and herring that were stretched across the river (Mich.)

I've seen aquarium goldfish get really fat.

I've seen some pretty big trout, I would consider them fat. Dunno about bass, I've never seen/heard of a fat shark before.
