all this about his mother's remarrying, her fake-grieving and his frustration with ophelia is true (you'll see that later on) but hamlet was also dealing with identity issues, classic teenage angst. he was struggling with his own thoughts inner travails. throw in the word "melancholia" to make your teachers happy.
