Absolutely not. People make mistakes and some people actually learn from them Those who learn from them, and their mistake was cheating, will never ever cheat again because they will learn that the pain it causes the people they love and more importantly, theirself, is nowhere near worth it. Now those who repeatedly cheat are a completely different story, but saying once a cheater, always a cheater is like saying "once you jump off a cliff and live but break every bone in your body, you will always jump off cliffs". It's a very ignorant statement coming from someone who does not understand the human persona very well.

If both or one partner in a relationship have cheated, this violates the first element of the concept of marriage, or even going together, and that is the element of trust. I may be a hard @ss, but I believe the relationship should be terminated, and if the cheater feels the full ramifications for his/her actions, maybe they would be forced to re-think their beliefs, however shallow, and be able to determine the difference between a good foundation for relationships, and co-dependency.

Great question. I mean , can we say that about everything? Once a ____, always a _______. You'd like to think that people have the ability to change, even a cheater. Like when karma decides to kick that person in the rear-end, maybe they'll learn to change. So, I'd say no...but I'd still be cautious.

I think everybody could change. However life goes on for a long time and temptation is always out there and it's not easy to say no to beautifull women.Tough question.

I used to believe this, until I met my bf. He is totally faithful and loyal. BUT used to cheat on his ex. Reason? because she was a true drama nightmare. And me? He said I'm his princess. *wink* As for myself. I did cheat on him 3 years ago. BUT, learning what a wonderful man he is- I stopped. Why lose something wonderful? Sad to say, some people will never know what they have until they lose it. and lose it somemore.

I don't stick around long enough to find out. The people who answer otherwise, most likely have cheated.
Honest and real life advice. They cheated, I got rid of them... trashy.

I think that if a person cheats and gets away with it, that it's easier for them to do it again.

Yes, and it is how once a #, always a #, or once a ♫, always a ♫. Maybe I shouldn't make symbols.
