We put ours up last night (a real tree). It's got silver/multi-colored garland, rainbow colored tinsel, lots of colorful ornaments, and lights that fade from white to multi-colors, and there's a big silver star at the top (with lights in it, of course). It looks beautiful. I was just sitting in the living room and listening to Christmas music while admiring the tree. I've even got a few gifts under it, already.

Yup. Mine is one of those fiber optic ones. The tips of the branches change color. Not quite 6' tall. It has a few traditional tree balls and some candy canes. And a couple dozen ornaments that look like the old fashioned wooden toys.
A bit of tinsel.
We like it. But, we can't find the angel who should be on top. She's packed away somewhere. I miss her.

Yes I put my tree up Thanksgiving weekend because I was going on vacation and wanted it to be up when I came back! I have a Victorian themed tree, trimmed in ribbons and roses, with lots of charming decorations, mostly in soft pinks and mauves. It's very pretty.

Yes, we decided to go with a white christmas tree because green became too old at our house. I gotta admit i am starting to like it.

Yes, I put it up right around Thanksgiving. It has some colored lights & some clear runner lights, bead garland, red bows, assorted ornaments & a red glass tree-topper.
BTW, it's artificial, but you have to be pretty close to tell.
