the argument is that fish have to eat all the time because they cannot store fat. I understand Bass is a fatty fish. What about sharks?

Well, fish in the wild will have a respectable amount of fat in their bodies so they can live through periods of famine, or in cold water. A wild fish should not be 'fat', as in obese, but most fish have surprisingly large livers. So, they can store fat, but much of what they eat does not contain a lot of fat. They store what they can, but use most.
However, in captivity, it's a different story. Many fish turn into fat little porkers when they are fed 2+ times per day.

Sharks have fat, mostly in the cartilage, but still it is extremely little fat. They are lean machines.

The one thing that I remember that amazed me when I dissected a shark back in high school was that their livers are HUGE! The liver runs almost the entire length of the body (at least in the species we dissected). Built for eating practically anything.

fish get fat.... fish fat is good for people (omega fats)
they eat all the time it doesn't seem they have a mechanism that tell them they're full... They'll eat till they die basically.

and they'll get sick if you feed them too much animal (mammal/ saturated) fat.. like us.
