College is better. You get a well rounded education.

ITT, DeVry and those other tech schools are OK.

Both (college and DeVry) give you Bachelors Degrees and that is ultimately what employers look for.

It depends on what you want to do. If you will be happy sticking with hands-on work (and lots of people, including me, are), then I'd go with DeVry. If you want to get into management, then a college degree is probably the way to go. Knowing what I know now, I would have preferred to go to DeVry; I don't have any interest in management (all paperwork and nothing INTERESTING, at least in my opinion), so my college degree is nice to have, but not terribly useful.

It all depends upon what your future employment goals are, how much time are you willing to spend while in academia, and what your resources are. It also depends upon your aspirations.
If your goals are to do blue collar technical work (for which you can get accreditation within 2 years, and get a decent paycheck working as a technician for a service provider, or as a lab technician), then go to DeVry. However, it will be more difficult to go up the ladder with those qualifications.
If your goals are to pursue a career in Engineering, Patent Law, or Program Management (which will require 4+ years, but will ream a better paycheck in the end), then pursue a career at an accredited university.
Whatever you pursue in the end, pursue it with passion.
Good Luck!

Hmm...i could say learn, utilising their internet site, for the wonderful and maximum direct answer. in my opinion, i've got in no way heard of any scientific majoring scholars attending DeVry, although, there would desire to be. the main i've got ever heard of have been engineering majors of a few style. in the event that they do have this software accessible to you, I wish you the wonderful of success. playstation : in case you ever evaluate incomes a Bachelor's degree from DeVry, i could applaud it; many DeVry scholars earn their Bachelor's degree in 3 years (on generic, it takes 4 years to earn a Bachelor's degree). So, DeVry additionally makes a speciality of saving you cash. =)
