Where can I find information on exotic pet laws for my area?

I live in Madison, WIsconsin and can't seem to find any info on what animals can be kept as pets. (i.e. wolves, etc.)

Look on the website for your local Animal Control Dept.

Call the non-emergency phone number for the police department, they will be able to tell you if you have to have a permit for the animal or if it is illegal to have it. You can also try the local animal control, they may be able to help.
