I got hypnotized tonight at the fair and I have a few questions about it. I really don't remember anything about it, aside from volunteering and then waking up. My friends say I did a lot of funny stuff but I have no idea. Also when I woke up I felt really groggy and loopy. I still feel kind of out of it, is that normal? I've never gone under hypnosis before and I am just worrying. Is this psychsomatic, or are these genuine hypnosis side effects. So yeah...let me know. Thanks!

These can easily be a little psychosomatic and a side effect of being so relaxed as to be able to turn over control of yourself to a stranger. I wouldn't worry at all.

Usually the best and most natural way to end hypnosis and any side effects you might be having at all is to sleep. That's because there are a lot of similarities between hypnosis and sleep. That's probably why you were feeling loopy.

When you wake up in the morning all traces should be gone. Though you might feel more relaxed for a day or so just because you would have let all the stress out of your body while getting hypnotized the night before.

So don't worry a bit!
