Iran is like any other Muslim country, It is nice if you grew up there and are used to the life it offers. Most Iranians would like all other people love to be able to travel as tourists, but most will go back ti their homes. What is and unique to the Iran market is the availability of high purity gold jewelry, Persian Rugs, and the taste of the food, other wise everything else is available in any other market.

Have been there and have seen it.Unlike what some may think,it is a safe country with more then 2500 years of civilization.Depending on what you are after, you can travel to different part of contry. The main historical places are Shiraz , Esfahan ,Kerman and Yazd.
If you are after the nature and sceneries then you must go the North.People are friendly and useful too.And not to forget scrumptious kebebs there.
Travel with peace of mind and enjoy yourself.
