What songs are good?

Simon and Garfunkel pull off some amazing, amazing harmonies and have the ability to create both catchy melodies and beautiful lyrics simutaneously. I've liked them since I was four, and I got in trouble for singing the song "Cecilia" in Sunday School since it's about a prostitute. I was four, how was I supposed to know? :)
In any case, people have mentioned "The Sound of Silence" being a good song of theirs, and I don't doubt it, it's a great song. In addition, I'd look for gems like "For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her," as well as "America," "Feuilles-O" (which was featured as a bonus track on the reissue of the album "Bridge Over Troubled Water"), "The Boxer," "The Only Living Boy In New York," and "El Condor Pasa (If I Could)."
Honestly, whether you want car music or something deeper, you can't go too wrong with S&G.
PS: Simon has been put on his own into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which should tell you what you should do regarding looking up his solo stuff... :)

I did but my musical taste has grown since then, but I still consider them quite good.
Bridge over trouble water has to be there best song
follwed by mrs robinson and I am a rock
they formed when I was 3 (1964) and disbanded in 1970 but made their make on history

Heck yea. They have some of the best harmonies. I like that folkey and acoustic sound. The two best tunes they recorded are Mrs. Robinson and Sound Of Silence.

Yes, I love their sound. It is just very soothing and easy to listen to. My favorite song is Sound of Silence. But I like all their songs.
