I am a single mother of 4 young children and everywhere i try to get help i get told that they don't service this area. I was working then i had a baby and after the baby was born i was told that i had been replaced at my job so now i'm out of work and its Christmas time. I've tried everything that I can to get the kids Christmas presents. I even tried to get a loan on my taxes but they won't do that either. I'm runnung out of ways so I was hoping that maybe someone else might have ideas for me.

I have tried churches salvation army toys for tots but no one seems like they can help. I'm living back with my mom already. And for the kids father he had a drug problem so i left him over a year ago and now i'm told that he is living in New Mexico and i can't get child support because no one can find him to file it.

I would try a church. The Salvation Army might be able to help. In our town we have Catholic charities. You might want to contact different churchs. Look in your local newpaper and see if there is someplace that is giving out gifts to the needy. The toys for tots have to go somewhere, why not your kids.
I hope all the advice you are getting from others helps you out. NO kid should do without presents.

Well, maybe you can go to stay at your parents house for a while? And maybe buy the kids a small Christmas present. I wish I could help you more. You're in a very tough position. May I ask where is the father? CHILD SUPPORT! Also try salvation army. But, ask your parents. And get some child support too. Good luck and happy holidays.

Have you tried your local Salvation Army or Toys for Tots. Also sometimes churches help out at Christmas. Good Luck! I hope things work out for you.

Did you try contacting a Salvation Army? How about a local church or Women's Center? You can call Social Services and they can direct you where to go. Usually, you'll need to sign up early to guarantee help. Good luck to you and your family.

try toys for tots or good will. another thing you could do is take your kids to a soup kitchen and have all of you volunteer together. it will teach them how lucky they are to have food, clothing, and shelter as well as givibg you bonding time with your kids instead of them siting under a tree ripping up boxes. you could do little things together, other than vlounteer, like string popcorn and cranberries on the tree. its really fun and deffiantly gets you in the holiday spirit when you are all together listening to christmas music, stringing popcorn and cranberries on trees and sipping hot cocoa.
merry christmas. i hope it all works out. : )

Contact a local Church,am sure there is one in your area that can help you. I got help last year for a lady by calling a Church(I wasn't even a Member) and they helped her.

You probably don't want to hear this, but have you ever considered not getting them gifts or making gifts? It is possible to celebrate a holiday without pricey gifts, and your children will have a better appreciation for things besides money. It's not sending them a good message if you are bankrupting yourself to feed into the holiday frenzy.
