That's fine I didn't have that kinda relationship w/ my parents either. It is very important to get checked for all STD'S if you just wanna get checked for AIDS they will take a little blood and send it off to a lab you will hear back in a couple of weeks if there is something wrong. U can go to a local health dept. they give FREE screenings also you don't just have to worry about AIDS you have ALLOT more to worry about than just AIDS there is a whole bunch of STDS that last forever. There is some that you can take antibiotics for U just need to go get tested and use protection. Nobodies gonna call you stupid for such a IMPORTANT question like that. that is why you can come on here and ask question and no one knows who you r.

you can go to a "family planning" at least thats what it was called around here when I was a teenager Its a confendcail doctors office thats stated funded for teenage girls you can get tested there get a pap all that they will even put you on birth control If they need to call you they call and leave a message sayin carol called or whatever you want them to say,,,,,but before you join you have to take an hour sex ed class and 4 you that should be a good thing cuz I thought all kids knew the risk of gettin stds and pregnate now but heck if ya dont ask away

They take your blood and send it to a lab. There are many places that will do it for free and you don't need parental consent.
