It is important that you purchase a very high quality castor oil regardless of whether you are using it externally as a pack, or internally. Castor oil typically found in the supermarket, drug or general grocery store will be of inferior quality and most likely contain toxins.

The castor oil you buy should be cold pressed and cold processed. A good health food store, natural foods supermarket and/or nutritional pharmacy should do the trick.

I've used one from the Edgar Cayce organization and one from a company called Home Health. I preferred the one from Edgar Cayce--thought it was excellent.

Phoenix Rising was right on the money, from Edgar Cayce. I bought my castor oil from The Heritage Store in Virginia Beach. They sell many products that Edgar Cayce recommended.
