It's a program whose sole purpose is to play waves of various frequencies. It's based on binaural entrainment, where a note of a single frequency is played in one headphone, and a slightly different note is played in the other. Supposedly, the beating of the 2 waves will "entrain" your brain waves to match the beat frequecy. There's a little bit of science in that statement.
