If people didn't see any superiors, then they wouldn't see a reason to work harder. Think about it. If you wanted to be a doctor or lawyer and you knew that you would still be paid as much as a truck driver, would you work hard in high school?

And of course there still would be theives and corrupt individuals! You know why? Because people want more. More and more. Why do you think that people buy brand name clothes and stuff? Because we no longer buy cars--we buy prestige. We no longer buy oranges--we buy vitality. Get it?

There seems to be faulty premise in this question.

First, being "rich" is not about having "money" its about having resources. And the resources that we have everyday does not grow itself. The Big Mac was once a cow which a farmer took cared of in a farm. The BMW was once scraps of metal that someone had to mine from a mountain.

Lets say somebody successfully steals all the money in the world? Will he be rich? Let me see him grow his own food from all that paper.

Those who understand economy, know that it isn't about the management of money. Its about the management of scarcity. For that reason, if you merely took all the money in the world and distributed it equally among everybody, you will not end world hunger. You merely force everyone to start from scratch. And you can expect the same people who were rich before to become rich again (well not all of them, but those of them who actually became rich through merit).

So in the magic world where everyone is equally rich, who does the cooking? Who does the cleaning? Who does the growing? Who does the making? The world will again re-arrange himself. Someone whose skills are mediocre will again be limited to living a mediocre life because 99% of the world's population will do more work than him. Those who has leadership skills, those who know how to direct the construction of structures like the Taj Mahal, or write an excellent operating system that everyone would want to put in their computer, or build networks of merchandising that can deliver the cheapest goods to the most people, these people will again rule the world.

The people of the world would never be equally rich. There would be no reason to go to work, no reason to even wake up in the morning. It could never work out that way, someone would feel the need to have more, to get more in some way.

Everybody will be working and caring about everyone other than themselves ... and caring about themselves too. What's wrong with that!

When others suffer, we should see that they are part of us, and give them ALL a reasonable means to survive and treat them as equals.

As in heaven ... so shall it be. And it is not easy to make it happen, but the human race is capable of it, once we truly understand.

I like your question, and I am sure your english will improve!

Wars stop when we treat each other fairly ... with understanding and Love!

What is rich? The value of rich varies with culture. Some concepts of rich are in no way enriching monetarily. Yet, without that which makes them feel rich, they would, in their eyes and the eyes of others, be very poor.

If everyone was "equally rich" then money should not exist. All the common goods will skyrocket due to inflation and therefore leading back to normal day life.

Then money would lose its value,
No one would sign with the army.
Political positions would actually be occupied by decent people.
No one would go hungry.
No women and children would be forced into the sex trade.
People who were pursuing material wealth would all commit mass suicide because they lost the only bright spot in their existence.
and everyone would be singing and dancing all day long.

If everyone started equal, some would build on it, some would squander it.
We'd be right back to where we are in a relatively short time.

Then just like many of the rich today, power is what many would seek to be ahead of the rest.

There are many rich people who work, just for the fun of it, fully involved, intense, and enjoying every bit of it.... Given the freedom, they would churn out product for all of us to subsist !
