What's important differs from person to person.
For cost...get the DX
For value get the LX
For creature confort get the EX
For mileage get the hybrid
For performance....you gotta go with the 2007 4dr Si (6sp only)
I'll be looking next year to upgrade our 2000 LX to a 2007 EX my wifes most important feature she needs is being able to "see" her right quarter back end for parking and lane changes.

My most important thing would be reliability. Hondas and Toyotas are highly reliable. I've had 5 hondas over the years and love them. Sure it takes money to upkeep them but they will last a long time. Happy hunting.

If you're planning on purchasing this from a Honda dealership then I would have them check the service history of this vehicle. It is a very important piece of information as it will tell you when it's been in for check ups and and repairs that have been done on it.

If you're not buying if from a Honda dealer then I suggest you spend the money and take it to a reputable Honda dealership and have them do a safety check on the vehicle. Since they are Honda techs they are well trained to pick up on problems. It would be money well spent.

I'm wondering why you are considering a used 06 when you can purchase a new 06 likely for just a little more with full warranty.
The thing to remember is when you do purchase your vehicle start taking it to the same dealership for regular servicing and build a repoiree with them. When they get to know your vehicle they will be able to pick up on problems before they become expensive.

Why buy a 2006? The price of a new 2007 shouldn't be much different and you're getting one year newer model year.
