well when my dad taught it to me he said it was: Da ba dee da ba die... im in need of a guy is probably a variation created by someone who didnt know that lyrics or what the heck the dude was saying. If you look up Blue Misheard lyrics on youtube, im in need of a guy is in those lyrics. i luv that song too!
