All Quiet On The Western Front (film)?

Can anyone tell me how this movie can be related to World History??? not WWI.,., WORLD HISTORY.,., please don't tell me to go to a website, if you can tell me in your own words,., it will be greatly appreciated

Sure sure its named after a book written by Erich Maria Remark (or some write it Remarque) in 1929, he was a soldier in WW1 and wrote this fascinating moving book "All Quiet on the Western Front" I strongly urge you to read it. He writes about the futility and horror or the war and the waste of life.

Remarque has written about the WWI of course but the WWI as any other war is depicted as totally useless and crazy,bloody and ogrish.So in that novel you can see all the wars in the world.Remarque was an anti - war person and he strong beliefs forced him to exile in US where he has written the most fabulous book in two volumes The Shadows in Paradise
