I'm going to be spending the day alone. My daughter has to work and I just got divorced a few months ago. My brothers live out of town. My mother an sister are not talking to me.
I haven't even put my tree up yet.
This holiday sucks!

Yes, I am another who is going to be alone on Christmas this year .. but instead of saying that it sucks ...
I am REJOICING that FINALLY I am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree -- no more does this Long-Term Single Parent have to have others tramping through my house on Christmas day -- no more teen/young adult so-called 'friends' -- NO MORE having to cook and clean (for what seems like WEEKS!) -- NO MORE do I have to stand and SERVE all day --- NO MORE do I have to pick up after those who will NOT ... -- NO MORE do I have to deal with toxic individuals in my home ... and ...
FINALLY -- I am ALONE ...
To Enjoy the PEACE ... the QUIET ... the SITTING DOWN ... for ONCE in a Long Life -- a VERY HAPPY TIME ...

Yes! Me! Again! But am ok with it... : ) Better a christmas alone than no christmas at all. Oh and by the way, I am still battling if I should put my tree up.. let's see!

my dad probably will. he's always workin n he's a truck driver so he drives all over the country. i wont be surprised if he cant be home this year
