Basketball athletes are the best pure athletes out of the major sports (being an american i dont consider soccer a major sport(being a football player i barely consider it a sport untill you get to professional level)) but anyways, the game of basketball is also very fast paced and very offensive oriented, which if you notice the rule changes in the NFL and NHL are trying to achieve. I however am a guy who also deeply apreciates the old school fundamental style of Duncan, and the team first attitude of Kidd and Nash, but I must admit as a Nets fan, I love watching Air Canada and Jefferson throw down on the Fast break. Its also the only sport every person in america can play on a regular basis.

it's mi life. I have this awesome feeling when i get the ball. Like im ruling the court. And i feel light. And i fly. I love that feeling every since i was 5 years old. I could handle the ball better than most 18 year olds when im only 13. It feels great. I love the game. The passion. The fire. The teamwork. It takes 5ive baby.

Dude i LOVE basketball. Its my LIFE! There is no better sport better than basketball. I love the "physcial" and feeling of the game. I am point guard of my team. I might just be ion H.S. but is is still pretty fun. I am even on Varsity. But I love the fouls. Because when i foul someone when they size me up i jsut wnt to hit them so bad. But when they throw the forst its all in. I have been kicked out of 3 games out of 6. Because of fighting...
Ohh well they'll get over it, if not i mught just have to kick their *** again!

To play: because it's all around, you need to run, jump, dribble, shoot. It's also allows you to be individualist and a part of a team at the same time. Just brilliant!
To watch: because it's fast, beautiful, the score changes quickly and it's quite unpredictable.

Non stop action for one thing. It's my 2nd fav sport to play after golf too. It's just more exciting and enjoyable to watch than football or baseball, those sports are boring as can be compared to bball.

at first i didnt like basketball because i wasnt particularly athletic and wasnt that good, but when i went to secondary school(12-16yo) all my friends were crazy about it and we would play EVERYDAY!!! Thats when i realise i have talent in this sport and also i became faster and stronger...
and ya i have so much love for this sport as my idol is iverson as he went through so much hardship and still remain off the streets to play ball...i also love his desire for winning which i emulate him...personally i can relate to him as im short too 5'8 and also i ever went through many injuries like him...i had knee surgery to repair my cartilage which i injure playing basketball and im still in the recovering phase but my love for basketball has not change....basketball to me is somesort of a mentor in life to me...

i love basketball blz i love the rush and excitement. Everytime im on the court i think it is just me no one else i love to run and shoot.Basketball has been a compliment of myself
