I had my computer running in safe mode, and i left it came back a couple hours later, and the computer had turned off. And now it won't turn back on! What's the problem with it?

Does not sound like this has anything to do with the fact that you were in safe mode. Your power supply may have failed.

It sounds like you were having a problem since you were in safe mode. My first guess if be the PSU (Power supply) If the HDD was bad it would turn on but would not boot. Also look an the back of the PC where the plug goes and see if there is a fuse, also turn the power switch off and on while you are there. If you still cant get it on buy a new PSU and put it in.

the hdd crashed - or - try unplugging the power cord from the back an re plugging it back in and make sure your monitor is on.
also some ATX power supplies have an on/off switch - double check that too.

You computer might have been hit by a power surge.

Replace your power supply and/or motherboard.
