They will weigh you and take your vital signs. You will pee in a cup at every visit from here on out, so get used to it! They will measure the height of your uterus (fundus) to make sure the baby is growing properly and listen to the baby's heartbeat. They will talk to you about having a blood test done to check for chromosomal abnormalities, which is not a necessary test, totally optional. They will also likely set you up an appointment for an ultrasound within the next few weeks. They will ask you about how you've been feeling and about your diet. This is the perfect time to ask all those questions you have. Write them down on a piece of paper to bring, you will probably forget some in the excitement and rush. The docs usually breeze in and out pretty quickly. Good Luck to you!

HOw far along were you at your first. If they haven't given you an ultrasound yet, you will definatly get one because they try to wait until 9-12 weeks before your first ultrasound. After that every 4 weeks it is a regular visit, they listen to the heartbeat.....feel your uterus and thats about it, they might do bloodwork or something. Your next ultrasound will be between 20-22 weeks. I go for mine next friday..thats when you normally find out if its a boy or a girl.

Not much at this point. They'll check your blood pressure, and take your blood if they haven't already. They might also do a test for std's if they haven't already (just involves a quick swab of the vagina). They'll do the urine strip, and the doctor will find the heartbeat with the doppler. S/he'll ask the usual questions ("Any problems?"), and that's pretty much it. Good luck, and congrats! It will get more interesting as you progress!

The Dr. is going to get a urine sample and maybe a blood sample. Not much more than that. They may schedule an ultrasound within a month or so.

They'll check your weight, BP, pulse all that good jazz and then get the heartbeat of the baby... possibly an ultrasound but unlikely. You'll give them a urine specimen and they'll answer any questions you have. Good luck and congrats!
