I don't like dirty books, partially because I go to a Christian school and need to write a book report on what I read... I'm a very picky reader, if the first couple of chapters aren't good, I stop reading. It needs to be at least 200 pages long and the max. is 320. I like John Grisham, Janette Oke (kinda), C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Agatha Christi to name a few.
Thx so much,
reader

I have many recommendations for you. I'm not sure on the page numbers, I'm assuming most of them would meet the minimum, but some may be longer than 320.
For fantasy:
Here There Be Dragons by James A. Owen
Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton
Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
Beauty by Rose McKinley
For realistic fiction:
Hope Was Here by Joan Bauer
Squashed by Joan Bauer
Rules of the Road by Joan Bauer
Best Foot Forward by Joan Bauer
Stand Tall by Joan Bauer
Backwater by Joan Bauer
For historical fiction:
Carolyn Meyer
Ann Rinaldi
Shelley Pearsall (Trouble Don't Last; Crooked River)
Katherine Paterson
You might also like Frank Peretti. He writes adult books.

Doulas Preston's "The Codex" is a fascinating read. The three Broadbent Brothers discover their super rich father, who found untold wealth robbing the graves of Mayan and Incan kings, has disappeared. All that's left is a video taped message tell the sons that he has taken his treasure and is going to be burried with it. If they want an inheritance, they must find his tomb and rob his grave. A bit violent in places, and the language can get rough, but the love interest that involves one of the sons is handled rather tastefully (no worse than anything Grisham has written).
"Metro Girl" by Janet Evanovich is also a great read.

My suggestions:
The Tripod Trilogy by John Christopher (good sci-fi)
The Bronze Bow by Elizabeth George Speare (great book set in Israel at the time of Christ)
Eli by Bill Myers (story of what it might be like if Christ came not in 1 AD but in 2000 AD)

Something that would be absolutely appropriate and also a very soulful awesome read for you to do a report on in a Christian school:
"Joshua" by Joseph F. Girzone
or any of his Joshua books. There's more than one.

Although quite fictional, I enjoyed Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. Not sure how long it is. Very interesting reading it is though. LOL
