Yes, especially in Ireland becuase of the legend of the Banshee. They say if you hear her wail someone in your family will die. Sometimes when the wind whips at night it sounds like a woman wailing. It's scary because we grew up with the legend.

omg,. i thought it was so scary when i was a kid.. haha
now i know that its cos the wind blew into some place that has some opening and thats why it sounds like that!

sometimes yeah! in my friends car, one of her windows didn't close properly or something, and it made a WHOOOO noise. we called that WHOOO noise casper, and it wasn't scary anymore. it would always say hello to us when we first started driving.
So what you do, if theres a window or door that whistles, call it casper (cuz he's a friendly ghost) and when it goes whoo just say shut up casper, or say hello. people might think you're weird... but who cares. i think it's cute!

omg i hate it
sometimes when i try to sleep i always go underneath the covers. so scary. Otherwise i stay up next to the heater in the lounge and watch a movie, talkin with my sis.
