Is it Intel or Amd or another ?

Well unlike a lot of comparisons between the two companies, this is not a matter of opinion but of fact. The first Pentium D was released May 25, 2006, while the first Athlon 64 X2 was released May 31, 2006. So technically the answer would be Intel, but only by a few days.

Ya Intel by day's. But that doesn't matter to me and it shouldn't matter to any one else. Fact of the matter is, if you were subjected to a blind test and didn't know which CPU you were running and you got to try them both, you would not be able to tell one from the other. In relation to speed the two differ by 10,000ths of a second. You can't measure that without a program to tell you that there is a differance. Pesonally I have had better luck with AMD. I have had to replace alot of Intel CPU's. They didn't take to overclocking as well. "PEACE"

Intel makes them first and AMD just clones it months later.
