Get paid slave reperation for being in slavery like the indians get paid for europeans taking over thier land?

I don't think anyone today should use their ancestors' suffering as an excuse to get a check. It's pathetic!! If YOU were not a slave, you should earn your money the old-fashioned way...WORK.
If anyone deserves reperations, it's anyone who is still alive from the Jim Crowe days. Those people who got rocks thrown at them and got blasted by hoses during the marches. Not their descendants, THEM.

This white man won't pay a dime my family didn't arrive here until the 1930's. Now where you a slave? No! Were your parents slaves? No.
Even if you can show a direct line of descent that my family owned your family. Think of it like this,(hypothetically) person A loans person B $100, the debt goes with out repayment is person B's family 150 years after the fact liable for the $100? NO!
You will get nothing, besides you would probably spend it on sneakers or a new set of rims for your hoopty.

Y not take a percentage of federal loans off student loans for black college grads instead of sending the proveberial check? One problem is sometimes people need an extra incentive to go to college and reduced student loans can help. This combined with scholarships, and grants from the colleges/organizations would help send more young black men and women to college so they can work at better careers and change the way people think about our race. This would also weed out the people who want something from life from those who don't and change the minds of those who want an education but believe that college is too expensive because of loans ect...

Stop the racism. People should not get paid because their ancestors were slaves, most of them had a better life here when all of the slavery was over with, would you rather still be in Africa starving and full of disease, probably not. Some members of my family were American Indian and we never asked for a penny, my husbands family was from Poland and you know what happened to them, yet none of us are complaining. It is in the past, leave it there and try to get along with all races, America is made up of people of all races so you better get used to it, and grow up. I feel bad for you that you are so full of hate, that isn't the way to live life.

They call it Affirmative Action...some people think that was our reparations..honestly we do not need reparations...we have the NBA, NFL, and the MLB...if those millionaire salaries aren't examples of reparations I do not know what is.....
