So here's a video of a woman being stoned to death instead.

Anyone else see anything wrong with this picture???

Yes the latter was said somewhat as a joke, I was trying to use it to illustrate what is and is not allowed.

Unfortunately stoning is still commonplace for lots of crimes.

Recently just before a man was executed, as his last request he was allowed to play a flute, after which the family who'd asked for the death penalty freed the man.

This is a culture I'm trying to understand, if we don't make the effort its gonna be a lot harder to in the future.

It very well might be true. The Internet is tightly controlled in Iran, as in most countries in the region.
I haven't heard of any stoning video, so make sure of your facts first.I think you might have been adding a little joke, but it seems that the others here took you seriously.
I don't think stoning is something that is practiced much. It was of course used by the Taliban fanatics in Afghanistan. but i haven't heard of others doing so.
I have met many Iranians, and most are very open minded and quite liberal. The mullahs that rule them have not yet been successful in crushing their spirit.

Yes it is true that Iran has restricted access to Youtube because of it's western influence.

As for the stoning of the woman...or the hanging of a rape VICTIM...or the hanging of GAYS...

I'll keep my western influence...thank you.

Must be a lot of ghost stories going on.
Could'nt take it themselves in planet of apes.
So just shut it down.
Instead of solving the problems .
Better hide it under the rug in planet of apes.
Sooner or later will get kick on the butts for it in planet of apes.

Should have been access to this country (England) in my opinion.

Yes, I agree it's a barbaric practice, just proves what these people we've let into our country are like, does'nt it.

Now you know why we don't want them here, these are frightening people to us, we don't want mix with people like this.
