Why do you consider suicide selfish?

some people say that it is selfish because it doesn't help the people that are left behind, and that if they could think of somebody else for just a minute that they wouldn't commit suicide.

I think suicide is a pain that most people can't understand, but should learn to forgive.

Because it hurts people left behind a lot just to ease your own suffering.
