Ok so i stopped taking my pill , completely and i havent had my period for 5 days, i was supposed to have it 5 days ago..i heard that if you stop taking your pill this might happen..but is this true?

Just b/c you quit taking the pill doesn't mean you are pregnant just b/c your late hun....just give mother nature(your period)time.If you are any more than about 2 months late then you need to go back to your doctor.Good luck

It's completely normal to have a late period, heavy period, light period or no period any time you go on or off birth control. This is due to your body adjusting to the lack or introduction of the hormones in birth control pills. Everyone's body responds differently.
