SONG HELP??? love song played during pivotal moments in movies... Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

I heard this song today and it was being played very softly. It is a romantic song and it is played frequently in movies and shows. It is kind of soft and slow with a male singer with a unique voice. The lyrics that I could make out were along the lines of:

this heres nothing
singing years
and i hope
and theres no
heart is you
and theres no one else

I tried searching remants of these lyrics in yahoo but came up with zero, so these lyrics could possible be wrong.

I'M UP FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS!!! Even if its not the right song at least I'll get some new song ideas!!!!

The singer was American and young, the song was more like rock but not anything hard. It is a young song, but not anything extremely recent.

Did he sound like he had an accent? (like Julio Iglesias)

Did he sound more American? (like Barry Manilow)
Do you recall a specific movie you heard it in? (and then check that movies' soundtrack)

Do you have an idea what kind(type) of song? (New country,Old country,Jazz, etc,etc)
