I can't figure the new attraction to this "drifting". They've been doing it at the local race tracks since the 1920's. Sliding a late model through the turns and then pulling both front wheels off the ground, now that's excitement.

I have what, I guess, would be classified as a super-Z. I'm running an estimated 500HP on one of the first 1000 ever off the assembly line. I pay for montly tickets for my blacked-out windows and no front plates... the rear plate reads ZZZZZZ. Can you guess what my answer is?
I've driven the RX8, and there really is no comparison. The 350Z is quite simply the least expensive drifting car of the last decade if you can sink a few grand into it. I also own a few .... 'exotic' cars. My Z can put them all down in the sub-100MPH range. Although over about 130, it isn't as predictable as a well-designed european or italian sportscar. But, then again, there is a substantial price difference. As an example, supercharger for my BMW 850 cost 20,000... around the cost of my entire Z after-market package.
Btw, I recommend to permanently disarm the traction control on the Z. It is quite unpredictable in general.

Weight to HorsePower ratio is almost the same for Both...
Driving down the Hwy I like the RX 8 and 300ZX T2
I like the Idea of the 3 rotor Motor Drifter In the RX 7 or 8
I like the 350Z's I see at the shows But they seem to burn out their clutches quicker than other... But that might just be the driver...
Drifting itself I'm still stuck on the 240SX 's with Skyliner motors.
I'm still cheap... If I had a sponser 350Z Turbo's Yes
Good Luck....

because the Civic type R isn't in u . s . of america, i'd %. that for the rareness component. yet with out wondering that way, i'd choose the 350Z if it replaced into spending extra time on the music than on the roads, and the RX8 if it replaced into somewhat on the roads. both autos deal with large on the music, even with the undeniable fact that the RX8 is extra sophisticated on standard roads, and the experience is smoother in each and on a daily basis site visitors.

You obviously have more tires than brains. I have never figured out why anyone would buy a brand new set of expensive tires then burn the damn tread off in one meet or weekend. DUH! Have fun.
