if you were already late and the test cam up negative you are most likely not pregnant but just take another one in a few days.

Yes, you can have a psychosomatic pregnancy. It's amazing what the mind can do to the body. Some women will even go through one or two "trimesters" with all the symptoms and not be pregnant at all.
Take the test again in a couple of days. Try not to think about it too much, take it first thing in the morning, and if symptoms persist see your doctor just to rule out anything medical that may be the real cause of your symptoms.
Good luck!

Bodies can play cruel jokes. TTC for almost 2 years and some months my body will convince me that I am preggo: up to 2 weeks late, nausious, tired, headaches, but neg tests. Then I start and get really depressed.
Good luck, best advice I have is wait a week and take another test, that is what my doc told me to do. Hope this helps.

The body is a strange and unpredictable thing. Yes your body can begin having the symptoms of pregnancy even if your not pregnant. You keep telling yourself your pregnant, and you get it buried into your mind, and you begin having the symptoms because you have already convinced yourself that you are with child. It has happened to me before. To be 100% sure go to the dr. and get a blood test. It tells a positive or negative result sooner than a home pregnancy test! Good Luck!

Could be... when I would think I was pregnant before the body somehow makes up all the pregnancy symptoms. I suggest trying another test in the morning with first urine. Good luck to you.

The past two months I started getting all excited because I missed my period by a couple of days. I literally became really tired, almost throwing up, cramping, etc... Then once I got my period I felt so much better. I think that my mind seriously told me I was pregnant...but I also think that when your hormones are acting up and making you late, it can make you sick.

There is a condition called a blighted ovum - it is when the egg and sperm connect and the placenta begins to grow but no embryo. In the past, this was called a false pregnancy; now thanks to ultrasounds this can be detected early on. A d&c is needed to remove the growing placenta.
