its 256mb, can i put another 256?stick in make it better? is i think 30 gb, its a dell so its one of the best, its windows xp, friend sellin to me and he's pretty much reformatted the drive so its like brand new but any advice?

Go to to the dell.com website. Go to Support. Put in the model. Look in the manual. Get the right memory. As far as I know most laptops use VERY specific memory. Good Luck

You probably can add more ram and also upgrade your hard drive, just find a compatible RAM module for your dell.
