No offense, but this is bullshit. You provided their origins. If you start researching people like that then 90% of North and South Americans are Europeans, Africans or Asians.
All those players Zidane, Thuram, Trezeguet, etc are the French citizens. They chose to be French and nobody forced them. They all were born in France, raised in France, learned to play soccer/football in France. End of discussion.

It doesn't really matter. All of them are French citzens and speak French fluently. It's their home country, and the country they love. For example, Brazil has many Argentinan players and the USA team has players of all different races. Also they play with the French style. Plus WHO THE HECK would call themselves the United Nations Team?!?! That's not even a country, they can't host the world cup, and no one would join.

well zidane's parents are algerian, but he's french. they all have roots from otuside of france, but they are all french citizens. there are lots of players like that for every country. Oguchi Onyewu plays for the u.s. national team, and his parents are both immigrants

They are nonetheless French, as they all hold FRENCH citizenship.

I was born in Korea, but I 'm an American citizen. I'm not white, but that doesn't mean that I am not American.

i don't think they'd be any good if all of their players were pure french though, no offense.
