For one thing, maybe she's shy. OR she might not feel like you *let* her talk! Why not ask her more open-ended questions? Instead of just yes or no questions, ask what she thinks about such and such an issue. If you know what she's interested in, you could talk about issues surrounding that. Otherwise, you could talk to her about it. Just say you don't want to take up the whole conversation. Do you interrupt her or get distracted when she's trying to talk? I sometimes stop talking if the person I'm talking to doesn't seem like they're paying attention. You really have to focus on her but not to the point that it makes her feel judged or uncomfortable. Say more about what she said so she knows you want to talk more about what she cares about too. She may just think you don't care. Trust me. I can be insecure too. Once I open up though, I'm not as sensitive about interruptions or other conversational things.

If you really wish to keep this relationship with her, you should just remain calm with her and let her open-up to you at her own pace. Some people just need time to become comfortable with others. It's sort-of like getting in a swimming pool for the first time--one person might be able to jump right in and be comfortable with the cold water, yet another person might have to step in inch-by-inch at the steps in order to become comfortable with the temperature.

I have gone through a similar thing. She probably has a lot on her mind or she is feeling a little depressed. Try to give her a little space. You can also ask her is something is wrong and if she wasn't listening or says that nothing is wrong, then point out her distance lately and see how she reacts.

Tell her you feel she's not open with you. Tell her whatever it is she could be hiding, you want to be there for her because you are her friends. Ask her is she upset with you. If not, then don't be too upset, not everyone is so out spoken. Don't get fustrated, get a grip and just really sit down with her.

In my opinion, the girl is not interested in you. You should keep distance from her for a while, one for her to think about that you are not that easily to get, two for yourself to consider or plan how to attract her.
Remember, never intend to catch a girl's heart by chasing her all around, on the contrary, attracting her by your own wisdom or your intelligence!

It sounds to me that she doesn't feel like talking to you.

Give her some space just to see if she reaches out to you.
