A park maintenance person stands 16 m from a circular monument. If you assume her lines of sight form tangents to the monument and make an angle of 34 degrees, what is the measure of the arc of the monument that her lines of sight intersect?

There are two parts to this question.

First, determine the length of the radius of the arc of her sight lines.
If you draw it out,
sin(34/2)=r/(16+r)
where r is the radius of the monument

Then,
Tan(34/2)=r/R
where R is the radius of the arc.

Then multiply
R*(34*pi/180)=the measure

I get 12.824 m
using pi=3.14

I think it's A because it's double the angle
