about a week ago a friend and I went to a stripper club called Body tap...I have a cousin who works there. it was all good clean fun until one of the guys tipped me and her to have a dance contest, I told him keep his money. I did a magical booty dance and now the manager wants me to work there.he gave me his number and he keeps sending messages thru my cuz for me to call him( so unprofessional).I'm thinking about it, but are there any disadvantages to being a stripper really? I'm currently pursuing a modeling career with a photo shoot in 2 weeks...will being a stripper hinder any of my chances going worldwide??? Honestly....I heard strippers are slutty, but my cuz is not,she a great person and she makes good money. Where I come from in the A( Atlanta, GA) so many girls are strippers there they make it look ok...and I heard that sometimes music producers use strippers in their videos..I just don't want to look like some kind of prostitute in the Mondeling Industry..help..Anna.

No, I don't think it will hurt the modeling career you're pursuing. Many celebrities and models start as strippers (or a similar profession), besides, it may get you noticed.

I've been a strip club DJ for over 3 years and I am dating a stripper. Quite honestly there is no shame in being a stripper, but you will deal with a lot of people who will look down on what you do. In fact you're likely to be a serious topic of gossip in your neighborhood. If your #1 priority is your modeling career then you should not dance. It really could ruin your career. Most girls who dance do so because they are desperate... single moms with no job skills... High School dropouts... and the occasional girl that loves the attention and likes to feel pretty $1 at a time. It's compeletely unnatural to take your clothing off in front of a stranger and most dancers feel extremely violated by their profession. I've seen crying breakdowns in the dressing room and many of the girls take various drugs to numb their brain to what they're actually doing. Most strippers are not slutty, in fact many of them feel so violated that they want nothing to do with men. Any contacts you would make for your modeling through stripping are not likely to take you serious... in fact they're most likely going to use your aspirations as a means to try to get in your pants. There are exceptions, but they are exceptions and not ordinary. As far as the professionalism of the manager, it is difficult to keep a club staffed so there is a ton of pressure for them to do whatever they can to recruit new talent. It's the nature of the business. I wish you the best whatever you decide. And give your cousin a big hug... she probably needs it.

That is so cool,seriously...I think you should do it. I would and the money would be nice too.I don't think you would be a s.lut if you became a stripper,you know what you consider slutty so don't do it. It seems like a fun job.Do it!!!

I personally wouldn't have Any problems with it, but i would say no to you, as you seem unsure, and if you have any doubts you should cancel it!
