In the internet so many people are racist or sexist without even knowing it, they're often too cruel to other religions, they take their own beliefs too seriously, they don't see their own irony, they're just ignorant, and i never know if the person is the nice looking person in the avatar or some weird guy who lives off a double life of torturing people off the internet. nobody i know is anything like that around here. sad. By the way, i don't look anything like my avatar, (not deceiving, just different skin, hair and face I still am nice) so don't assume anything off that.

People on the internet don't have to worry about the consequences of their comments. They can remain fairly anonymous, and they never have to face the people they've insulted. The internet is a "safe zone" for bullies.

I do look a lot like my avatar and i try to be as nice as possible unless i really get well p-----o. There probably are a lot of lies told on here but there also are many lies told in everyday life. I can't be responsible for other people being mean to each other! It would be a very nice world if people were just nice for a week-I bet there would be lots of changes. I try to enjoy the fun part then if i get bored or don't like the way things are going i get off here.

The simple fact of the matter is that cowardice breeds self-loathing, and anonymity removes the fear of retribution. Therefore, I can say whatever I choose to because I cannot be held responsible for My own actions (unless I am Man enough to leave My details) . I would make a very basic suggestion to You: check the avatar of the people who offend You, and report Them to Yahoo!
Have fun with the Internet, and do not abuse the privilege.

I think it is because it is not a "real enough" social setting online compared to real life, person to person. People say a lot of things online that they wouldn't say to someone's face. More people do this because they feel safer and therefore more powerful online, since no one can physically hurt them for anything they say or do. It's like throwing water balloons at people from a plane: they can't get you, so why not attack them with something seemingly harmless. In the case of the plane, balloons, and in the case of the internet, words.

I do not think I am cruel. But you can be politically incorrect on the internet. But I also do phone people here where I live and let them know if they have goofed. Like city council members, or city officials. They are working for us. Our tax money pays their salary, health insurance etc. Therefore, they will listen to me when I feel it is ok to bawl them out. This is not one of those countries that come and throw you in jail, cut your head off or shoot you in the head for being vocal against any segment of the govt. check my nickname. Let freedom ring.

on the information superhighway you're secure on your room in the back of a show show so which you have subsequent to no worry of repercussion for something. for this reason you're saying the flaws you will possibly under no circumstances say in actual existence given which you may get away with it and it incredibly is relaxing. It acts as a super thank you to vent and relieve all the bottled up hatred and bitterness a super type of little ones have from being unpopular, picked on, on my own or what have you ever in actual existence, so whilst it comes right down to it it incredibly is in simple terms human beings attempting to get their kicks for their very own own satisfaction.

People act totally different on the internet than they would if we all happened to be in the same room talking. It is easier to be quick to judge those we dont know/cannot see in person. It is also easier to speak our minds over the internet.

Because they can do it without looking you in the face, it is easier for people to just write something hateful on here and walk away like nothing happened

The internet is an outlet for a lot of people who have nasty things to say but don't have the guts to say them in real life. Don't take it personally.

People on here think they are incognito and therefore feel freer to be nasty . The law of nature still holds true , "we do reep what we sow " even on the Internet . It never fails !
