Hey, if u love being a florist, then when u spend a lot of time on your work, then u will be very happy. Why would u hate?

I worked for a florist many years ago and Christmas was the WORST time of year to work there! Sorry you have to pay overtime, I'm sure most employees would rather be home with friends and family. You could hire extra help for the holidays - just think how slow business is after Christmas! (then get ready for Valentines Day!) Merry Christmas!

When I was serving my Apprenticeship as a Gardener with the local authority we made up miles of Laurel and Holly garlands which were strung up around the city centre. Holly wreaths by the hundreds.

Going out into the various parks and woodlands to gather the necessary materials was a chore that had to be done.

I would hate to be a florist at any time of year as I have severe hayfever!
