2:57 AM, but that is Central time, so 3:57 Eastern. therefore it is much earlier on the west coast and it's even daylight some places. It's all very confusing and has a lot to do with the international dateline, not to mention what daylight savings time does to it. And that is just here on earth. Venus, Mars, Etc, toally different.

I think the major universities should offer online course on this.

The president usually knows, but not likely this one.

My wife says it occurs at dark-thirty.

Actually I've always thought of it as halfway after dark and the next day. but that's just what I think, nothing to base it on1

I think the dead of night is any time between 1AM and 4AM

from what I remember the dead of night was not a time
it was a sense of stillness,
probably when hunting in the dead of night
little moves etc
