What kind of files/folders are you talking about? Is there a process running? If so, Ctrl/Alt/Del to Task Manager, and kill the process, then try deleting again.

Running your windows in safe mode. And if you have a virus try kaspersky or norton.

maybe it's got an access error. restart the pc .. that should remove all existing access .. then try to delete ... if that doesn't help ... i don't know :)
