i own a repair and restoration shop, and we do paint jobs here,,the average price can start around 800 and go on up,,it all depends on if there's any body work at all to do on it,,and also the type of paint you choose to put on it,,i bought a half a gallon the other day ,for a Nissan, and it cost 400 just for the paint,,not the additive that go in it,,so as you can see it all depends on what you want ,and how nice you want it look, and how long you want it to last also,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s..,have a good x-mas.

It depends on what you will accept for a given quality job. Paint jobs run anywhere from $40 at Macco to $1000 at some garages. How long do you expect to keep the car, are there any rust spots that need fixing, will the paint include under the hood, door ways etc. you must make a plan as to what you want done, how much you can afford and what kind of quality you expect. Tain't easy McGee.

Franchise spots like Macco and Earl Schibb it is about $250 but finishes cost extra. You could call a body shop and get a rough they run anywhere from $500-$5000 depending on "damages" like rust reseal and dent removal. It all depends a paint job is always more than just paint. Good Luck!

In CAL I've had cars painted for as little as $220 from a franchise cheap paint place. Gets the job done and looks good too.
