Sounds like a sticky slider on your caliper. Your best bet would be to buy one new caliper for the side that's making noise, 2 new rotors, and a set of front brake pads. Total cost for the parts will run around 100 bucks. You may have a cracked rotor as well, but I doubt it...you don't necessarily have to buy new rotors, but it's a good idea because this car is so old. Good luck.

You should take it back to whoever did your brakes immediately, it's probably just that your brake pad moved out of place but you don't want to take a chance on not being able to stop your car. If it is related to your master cylinder, your brakes could go completely out and this is very dangerous, it happened to me on a major highway and I was in a car with an automatic transmission and no emergency brake, it happened without warning coming up to a traffic light, very lucky I avoided a major accident.

Take your car back to the people who installed the brakes. It sounds like the rotor is warped or and installation problem. In any case don't wait for it to get worse.

Have the brakes looked at again. Check the struts and upper strut bearing mount. Could possibly be a broken motor/transmission mount.

That doesn't sound good. Brakes are important. Get some reputable advice from someone that can look it over real good.

it could be a caliper sticking sometimes.take the calipers off and clean the anchor plates(where the caliper rides on,and also put a small amount of high temp.grease on the anchor plates.
