Nevada living trust to protect anything? Snake oil.

In answer to your question, no a living trust need only be signed and properly witnessed. The beauty of a trust is that it is a private document. The use of a trust contemplates avoiding the court process through probate and resolving everything quickly, privately and inexpensively. The only time anyone would go to court is in the case of a fight, which can be avoided through a well drafted and thought out trust.
