I have found a suspicious roach-looking bug, what are the best sites to identify bugs?

I don't think it is a roach. It is about a half inch long, doesn't have wings, but has long antenna. It looks like a beetle, except my friends say it might be a cockroach. If it is, I want to find out the exact type so I can kill them much better.
